Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer is also known as “Duda.” He’s a major player in the media business and has recently moved into online ventures as well. His family business RBS Group has been around for several decades. The company has a major holding on the news and radio aspect of media in Brazil. The business has evolved in recent years as Duda has taken over as the chairman of the board of directors, a position he’s been groomed for many years in the making. He restructured the business to make changes that would help business including the establishment of e.Bricks Digital, an online media company. The newer company provides a unique opportunity for businesses that are established, but without an online presence. To date e.Bricks Digital has funded over $300 million to Brazilian businesses and increased its portfolio significantly.

He continued his schooling by earning an MBA from Harvard University. This ivy league program opened many doors for Duda including meeting his current mentors. Upon returning to Brazil he worked in the family business as a vice president before being appointed to his current role.
Over the years, Duda Melzer’s accomplishments have led to many awards and significant recognition. He’s been named “entrepreneur of the year” several times by organizations such as the Cambridge Center for Family Enterprise and Ernst & Young. Despite his busy schedule, Duda still makes time for his two children and even to do charity work on behalf of RBS Group’s charity named after his grandfather. The Mauricio Sirotsky Sobrinho Foundation advocates for social awareness of issues affecting the youth in Brazil. These accomplishments show Duda Melzer isn’t just an entrepreneur, but a community leader as well.
